Josie’s Mission
Josie’s Bake Sale provides Bay Area dogs with locally and sustainably handmade, healthy, and super delicious human-grade baked treats. We believe that compromise isn’t an option when you’re surrounded by fresh, flavorful ingredients and lots of doggies who want to eat them. We make the best treats in town. Paws down!
Ingredients Promise
Good dogs deserve nothing but the best. Our treats are made with some of the finest organic and local ingredients. They’re totally people-grade and are taste-tested by both dogs and people! They DO NOT contain any wheat, corn, soy, dairy, animal products, preservatives, added salt, sugar, or fillers. Snack assured.
Pro-Planet Packaging
Hey, our packaging ain’t no one trick corgi! Our snazzy labels are printed on 100% recycled paper with vegetable-based inks. Our awesome biodegradeable PLA (corn!) containers can be reused, recycled, or composted. This is the only planet we’ve got so let’s keep it clean, people!
Carbon Paw Print
Limiting distribution to just the Bay Area helps us keep our carbon paw print in check. We believe that closer is better because things stay more personal and friendly that way. We like to buy local and our happy customers pay it forward when they buy from us, and we all get to wipe some carbon off our paws. Nice!
Giving Back to the Pack
Like any bake sale worth its bark, we are all about giving back to our community. We like to contribute to local rescue groups like Muttville, Rocket Dog Rescue, Grateful Dog Rescue, and The Milo Foundation. Got suggestions for additional groups in need? Pretty please send them to .
Josie In a Treatshell
Josie, our founder, is a Miniature Wookie mix who enjoys long walks, napping, and everything in between. When she’s not working her paws off, she catches up on reading, stares out the window, and watches a little reality TV–her guilty pleasure!
